Folk use it to ferment steamed bread, which is of high quality and well received by users. It was once famous and its business was very prosperous. Our products are not only well received by neighboring countries, but also exported to Hongkong, Taiwan Province Province and Southeast Asia. The 1920s to 1950s was the most prosperous period of production, with a daily output of 5,000kg. In order to meet the needs of the local market, the village also sent technicians to Shantou, Chao 'an, Jieyang, Chaoyang, Huilai and Raoping in Vietnam to make wine cakes and start businesses and settle down in these places.

At present, fermentation with wine cake has been replaced by modern science and new technology. Up to now, Xishe produces only 1 wine cake, but its reputation still exists.
