1. Waterproof treatment of non-removable bay window

Practice is to knock off the original batch of about 15cm wide window frames and wall joints, then expose the red bricks, brush them twice for waterproofing, and then use cement mortar to batch swing. The purpose of this is to ensure that the joint between the window frame and the wall is sealed without hollowing, otherwise the rain will penetrate into the room along the gap of the window frame, leading to mildew in the room.

2, waterproof sealant

After the joint between window frame and wall is treated, the joint between window frame and glass should be treated, and the gap between window frame and glass should be sealed with waterproof sealant. The requirement is smooth and flat, without holes and gaps.

3. Window drain hole

Make sure that there are drainage holes in the window to prevent rain from hitting the window frame when it rains, and the rain can be discharged without infiltrating into the room.

4. Install a water deflector on the inside of the window frame.

Generally, a stainless steel plate with a height of 5 to 8 cm is pasted on the lower frame of the window frame to form a water retaining plate, which can effectively prevent rainwater from overflowing.
