Classification of storage shelves

Shelves are divided into traditional shelves and new shelves according to development. There are many kinds of shelves, but storage shelves are divided into light storage shelves, medium storage shelves, heavy storage shelves, attic shelves and so on.

Shelves can be divided into general shelves and special shelves according to their applicability. According to the manufacturing materials of shelves, they are divided into steel shelves, reinforced concrete shelves, steel and reinforced concrete mixed shelves, wood shelf, steel-wood composite shelves and so on. According to the weight of shelves: heavy shelves: the load capacity of each shelf is above 500 kg; Medium-sized shelves: the loading capacity of each shelf is150-500 kg; Light shelves: the loading capacity of each shelf is below 150kg.

There are two ways to access shelves: manual access and mechanical access. Manual access refers to the use of manpower to access goods, generally used to partition shelves and stacked shelves. As for mechanical storage, it refers to the use of forklifts, shuttle cars and other machinery for access, such as: beam shelves, drive-in shelves, shuttle shelves and so on.
