Cats have always represented mystery, why did ancient Egypt choose cats as mascots?

Nowadays there are a lot of people like cats, and I think most people like cats because of their cuteness. But in ancient Egypt, people liked cats not because of their face value, but they respected cats as a symbol of good luck. So why did ancient Egypt think this way? I'll share my own opinion now.

1. Egyptian cats were sharp and intelligent, the way one would expect them to be.

Nowadays, many people have their own male gods and goddesses, and the so-called male gods and goddesses are what they expect to become, or the ideal type. In ancient Egypt, cats were to the Egyptians what male goddesses are to some of today's stargazers. In this way, it is not surprising that the ancient Egyptians would honor cats. People nowadays hang posters of male goddesses and goddesses in their rooms, while the Egyptians of that time made bronze statues of the cat's likeness, which would also be placed in prominent places in their homes.

2. In Egypt, the cat was considered the embodiment of the moon.

In Egypt, the moon is something very sacred, and the cat as the embodiment of the moon naturally has a low status. Because Egypt has a large desert, and the moon hangs in the desert is usually a street lamp for survivalists, people will therefore respect the moon. The cat's brightness, femininity and the moon match, therefore, the Egyptians would consider the cat as the embodiment of the moon.

Cats are really quite high in Egypt, and even now, people going to Egypt are able to see pampered cats. Don't think that all Egyptians are cat slaves, they really respect cats as sacred animals. For the Egyptians cat is their mascot, not about the cat's face value, only with the meaning of the cat in their hearts. The cat is the moon, and the moon is holy.
