Dough sculpture making tutorial
Dough sculptures, also known as dough kneaders among the people, are one of my country's traditional handicrafts. The raw materials used are mainly flour, which is clean and hygienic, easy to process finely, colorful and realistic in shape.
The method of making dough for dough sculpting is as follows:
1. Raw materials
Flour (preferably Fuqiang flour) 90%
Rice noodles 10%
A little glycerin and honey, a little white wax and edible oil
2. Production method
After evenly mixing the flour and glutinous rice flour, while stirring quickly, slowly pour the boiled concentrated salt water into the flour to make the flour form a dough.

2. Put the dough into the steamer and steam for about 15 minutes. Take it out and knead in a small amount of glycerin and honey. If you need to prevent mildew, you can add a small amount of phenol (carbolic acid).
3. Divide the kneaded dough into several portions, knead into red, yellow, blue, green, black, white and other advertising colors respectively, roll into strips and place in a plate, cover with a damp cloth and set aside.
4. Heat the white wax and cooking oil together until they become viscous, put them into a box, and use them to wipe your hands when making dough to prevent the dough from sticking to your hands and affecting the production.
