How to use excel solver to solve the optimal solution

The following shows how to use 20 10 to achieve the same effect in the book.

First install Solver, click the green File tab, and then click Options.

Click to pop up a dialog box.

Select Excel Add-in from the Manage (a) drop-down list, and then click the Go (g) button next to it to open the following dialog box.

Select Solver Add-in, and then click OK, so Solver is installed.

After the installation plan is solved, you can start. Build a table as follows

Name C3 X, so that we can use X directly in the formula, instead of referring to this cell like $C$3.

Right-click C3, and then click Define Name (a) in the pop-up menu. In the pop-up dialog box, name the cell "X".

Enter the formula for C4.

=2*x/3-sin(x)

2x/3-sin(x)=0 is the equation we want to solve. Select the solver in the data.

Set in the Solver Parameters dialog box

Click the "Solve" button to start solving. When finished, the following dialog box will pop up.

At the same time, Solver also generated a worksheet named "Operation Result Report 1".
