Checkers Rules and Techniques

Checkers Rules:

Number of Players: 2, 3, 4, 6

Your Camp: Initially, your 10 pieces are placed in a square triangle

Your Goal: Your 10 pieces have to leave their home towns and jump to the other side of the room to take over the camp directly across from you. Camp Entry: pieces enter the target camp

Checkers: only one move

Pieces can move in six directions, and each move can only reach adjacent empty squares

Checkers: can be jumped consecutively

Chinese game center checkers is using the one piece checkers rule: every other piece can be jumped, and there are two neighboring pieces, number 1 and number 2 respectively, and the first one can jump to the square where the two pieces are located. The #1 disc can jump to the empty square on the line where these two discs are located and next to the #2 disc!

The game ends when all of a player's pieces are in the target camp, and the other players are ranked according to the number of pieces in the camp, and can have the same rank (e.g., in a 4-player game, there are 1, 2, 2, and 4 players)

Rules of Operation:

1 . Click on your own piece to pick it up

2 . After picking up the pieces, there will be a special display for the positions you can move to/jump to

3 . Click on an available space to drop a piece

4 . If you want to change pieces in the middle of the game, please right click to put down the piece before picking up the other pieces

Note: Reachable squares are those squares within the target camp, non-camp and your own camp that fulfill the jump rule, but after 30 rounds, they no longer include squares within your own camp that fulfill the jump rule, i.e., your own camp is no longer reachable. Preventing negative rules

We don't want to see the practice of keeping pieces at home for a long period of time to prevent an opponent from occupying them, so each player must have 5, 8, and 10 `pawns' away from his camp on rounds 20, 25, and 30, respectively, or else he will fail as a passive quitter. In order to protect the precious time of others, if a player exceeds the time limit 3 times in a row, the player will also be penalized for quitting.

Order of consideration for singles checkers:

1. Jumping far and blocking opponent

2. Jumping far or blocking opponent

3. Jumping not far, but making good position

Order of consideration for doubles checkers with opponent:

1. Jumping far + bridging opponent or jumping far + blocking opponent Bridging or jumping far + blocking the enemy's house

2. Blocking the enemy's double-first or jumping far yourself

3. Adjust slowly, but be careful not to bridge the opponent.

Checkers tips for beginners

1 . In the opening, you can learn a few rules, play quickly, and in particular, you should develop your own tactics and carry them out to keep the lead.

2 . In the middle game, focus on the balance of attack and defense, the overall advancement, the most avoided for the opponent with a small number of troops to occupy the key, or even split the chess situation. The first hand should pay attention to fast attack and suppression, and the second hand should pay attention to preventing and stabilizing the opportunity.

3 . In a duel, be careful not to forget to build bridges for the following pieces in your haste to enter the camp.

4 .
