Han nationality, born in February 1958, doctor of medicine, doctoral tutor. 1999 to March 2003 as the president of Heilongjiang University of Chinese Medicine. 2003 to January 2011 as the president of the Chinese Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and also served as the vice president of the Chinese Society of Traditional Chinese Medicine; Vice President of the Chinese Society of Integrative Medicine; vice president of the China Health Care Association; the National Pharmacopoeia Committee executive member; Director of the World Health Organization Collaborating Center for Traditional Medicine (Clinical and Information); currently Director of the Planning and Finance Department of the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine. He is a young and middle-aged expert with outstanding contributions to the State, the Ministry of Health and Heilongjiang Province, a candidate at the first and second levels of the National Project of Cultivating One Hundred Million Talents, a representative inheritor of the National Intangible Cultural Heritage Program (Chinese Medicine Cognitive Approach to Life and Disease), and enjoys the State Council's Special Allowance. He was awarded as Heilongjiang Famous Chinese Medicine Practitioner, won the honorary title of Top Ten Outstanding Youth of Heilongjiang Province, Silver Award of 100 Outstanding Young Chinese Medicine Practitioners in China, and the Third China Outstanding Youth Science and Technology Entrepreneurship Award, and enjoys the State Council Special Allowance. He was awarded the 2009 He Liang He Li Prize for Scientific and Technological Advancement, becoming the sixth winner in China's traditional Chinese medicine industry after Tang Yuzhi, Shi Xuemin, Chen Keji, Wang Yongyan, and Zhang Bolei. He was awarded the International Cooperation and Development Prize by the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Galen Medal by the Russian Society of Naturopathic Medicine, and the Hippocrates Prize for International Cooperation by the Italian Association of Chinese Medicine.
