Authentic Longxusu is a specialty of Anqing City, Anhui Province.

Longxusu was invented in the Han Dynasty more than 2000 years ago.
It is said that in ancient China more than 2,000 years ago, people discovered a delicious food extracted from maltose and refined from 1000 kinds of sugar shreds. The royal chef will perform the whole production process in the royal garden with his exquisite craftsmanship, and the royal nobles will enjoy it on the spot. This delicious food made of natural maltose has always been "cooked and eaten now" and is not preserved.
Nowadays, this kind of dragon beard crisp has also become a flavor snack in Anqing, Anhui. In addition to its unique taste, its production process is also like running water. First, put the maltose in a small pot and heat it to melt, then take out the softened maltose and put it on the chopping board and knead it repeatedly to keep it tough. In the process, glutinous rice flour is continuously added and stirred into a figure of eight.
Repeat the above steps until maltose appears filiform, and then wrap peanuts, nuts and sesame together in the freshly pulled sugar shreds. The produced silk is clear, white and full.
