Shanghai Qiao Jia Zha is a famous traditional brand enterprise in Shanghai catering industry. Its predecessor was Yongmaochang Tea Restaurant, which was established in 19 10 (the second year of Qing Xuantong).
In fact, although this store is located in a small road, it is affectionately called "Qiao Jia Zha" because it sells jiaozi with distinctive features, customers come from afar and its business is booming.
1945 After the victory of War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, Yongmaochang Dim Sum Restaurant was renamed as "Qiaojiazha Dim Sum Restaurant".
After 1956, I moved from Qiaojia Road to Zhonghua Road in Laoximen. The number of stores has expanded to five, and an independent pastry workshop has been set up. Dim sum masters gather to form a scale. Therefore, the characteristics of Joe's name are very famous in this city.
People usually choose "Qiao Jia Zha" peach cake on birthdays, birthdays and housewarming, and they will never forget "Qiao Jia Zha" on holidays. For example, eight-treasure rice, muffins and osmanthus rice cakes in the Spring Festival, jiaozi in the Lantern Festival, Reunion Festival in Tomb-Sweeping Day, Zongzi in the Dragon Boat Festival and Chongyang Cake in the Double Ninth Festival. "Qiao Jia Zha" has a long history and is famous in Shanghai. Zhao Zukang, former vice mayor of Shanghai, wrote the gold-lettered signboard of "Qiaojiazha Gate in Shanghai" for him.
Since the reform and opening up, Shanghai Qiaojiazha has inherited and carried forward the essence of traditional technology, integrating tradition, innovation and introduction into one furnace, and created the supply characteristics of "ordering dishes and combining dishes". More than a dozen traditional innovative varieties, such as "eight-treasure rice", "sweet and salty zongzi" and "fine sand hemp ball", have won the Jinding Award of the Ministry of Commerce of People's Republic of China (PRC) and Shanghai's high-quality products for many times, and/kloc-0 was named as a famous snack in Shanghai in 1994. Its traditional Jiangnan cuisine also enjoys a high reputation. The special dish "Braised River Eel" won the gold medal in the third national cooking competition; "Shanghai smoked fish", "special duck breast" and "fermented bean curd" won the gold medal of China famous dishes respectively; Qiao's pressed dumplings, fresh meat dumplings, fresh meat pot stickers and crepe wonton were awarded the title of China Famous Point.
In 2003, due to the need of municipal construction, Shanghai Qiaojiazha was moved to 1088 Lujiabang Road (near Daxing Street) to continue its business.
