What are the requirements for bows in archery competitions?
There are three kinds of bows in archery competition, including Olympic bending prevention, compound bow and light bow (including Mongolian traditional bow, British long bow, American long bow, American hunting bow, and bow and bending prevention light bow, etc. ), but a few are very common:
1, the number of pounds is limited, and the competition in the garden and metallurgy venue shall not exceed 60 pounds;
2. Accessories are not allowed to use any electronic products, such as rangefinder tied to bow or similar auxiliary aiming equipment;
3. In the bow competition, the whole bow must be able to pass through a metal ring with a diameter of about 10cm without torsion, which limits the existence of shock absorbers and bow bridges.
