Learn the five modeling skills of bonsai quickly!
Bonsai trees have only one trunk, and the posture of the trunk is basically upright or slightly curved, that is, the so-called straight middle bend, which is called straight trunk. A straight bonsai tree requires that the best expression of roots must be thick roots extending in all directions, which makes the tree look solemn and stable, with indomitable spirit. Flourishing leaves, rich levels, flourishing leaves. Branches should be about 1/3 or 2/3 of the height of the trunk, and there should not be too many branches and leaves to avoid blocking the trunk. Make the trunk more bare to show the position and vitality of potted trees. The flowerpot should be shallow and planted in a tree shape. Pay attention to the asymmetrical balance between the tree and the flowerpot. If the crown is an isosceles triangle, the planting position should be in the middle and rear; If the crown is a slightly unequal triangle, the planting position should be slightly on the short side of the triangle. Dry tree bonsai should be made into towering "straight" paintings with short branches. Tree species suitable for the straight-line project include Pinus thunbergii, Pinus pentaphylla, Pinus koraiensis, Metasequoia glyptostroboides, Ginkgo biloba, elm and so on. Most of these materials were taken from forest farms, and some of them were excavated from Shan Ye.
Bending dry type
Bent bonsai trees require the trunk to be bent to a certain extent, but not too much. One or two curves are enough. Avoid monotonous repetition of songs, otherwise there will be traces of artificial creation. Music is alive, the change of the main line is both rigid and flexible, and the lines are smooth and euphemistic. Mountain dry materials are unpredictable, vigorous and natural, and very valuable, but there are also unsatisfactory line changes, so we should pay attention to the selection. When planting artificially cultivated dry materials, the trunk must be slightly inclined, so that the roots on the other side can be cultivated into thick roots, which are half exposed on the soil surface, and the direction of the roots and the joint of the trunk are in one go, which feels smooth and harmonious. It is the most important ornamental part of this dry tree bonsai, and we must attach great importance to it. The part above the base of the trunk can be cut off so that the trunk can choose another development direction. In the future, the trunk can be cultivated by cutting and binding until it meets the requirements of beautiful bonsai. Cypress is the most typical material for bending and drying bonsai. Other pine trees and some miscellaneous trees are also suitable for forming dry bonsai.
Inclined dry type
In nature, the inclination of trunk is mostly caused by strong wind, landslide and collapse. Therefore, the morphological change of trunk inclination is also very complicated, but one thing is that its trunk line is not a straight line, but a variety of deformation of "S" shape. This inclination of the trunk in nature is reflected in the bonsai of trees, which is called inclined stem type. The trunk of sloping dry bonsai materials must have various "S"-shaped deformations. If the trunk is to the right, there should be thick roots on the left, and the stem tip of the trunk should be upturned, just like the bonsai material that has been tilted for many years. If the trunk is inclined and the trunk line is straight, it lacks charm and does not conform to the laws of nature, because without windy days, the tree will always continue to grow upwards. The key point of making bonsai with oblique trunk trees is how to keep the center of gravity and achieve balance. The methods are as follows: play the role of thick roots in the opposite direction, play the role of branches in the opposite direction, and the big branches fall at the same inclination as the trunk, giving people a sense of support. In order to strengthen the inclination of the pot tree and make the composition active, it is advisable to choose a round shallow pot, a square shallow pot or a semi-high round pot, so that the inclined trunk or branches extend out of the pot. Pine trees and some miscellaneous trees are suitable as materials for inclined dry bonsai.
Cliff style
On the natural cliff, some trees are amazing in various ways, but they are still flourishing. Trees with this posture are embodied in bonsai, which are collectively called cliff style. Cliffs are generally semi-suspended, fully suspended and inverted. Semi-hanging type: the whole bonsai tree grows out of the basin, but the tree body is not lower than the basin surface. Maybe the trunk spans out, or the trunk is short, the first br.
Although cliff bonsai is popular, it must be considered according to the material conditions and follow the modeling principle of "suitable for things". Cliff bonsai used to be planted in flowerpots to set off the momentum of trees falling from a height. Now plant it in a half-height square basin or round basin. When arranging the exhibition, use a few tall ones to create a cliff momentum. Its advantages are that it can improve the cultivation management of trees with high tube depth; In terms of viewing, it can make the trinity of landscape, basin and shelf vividly displayed, thus making the picture transparent, harmonious and vivid.
Double dry type
The double-trunk tree bonsai appears in the form of combining two trees, which embodies the artistic beauty of dignified coordination, proper density and combination of reality and reality between the two trees, thus showing the realm of both form and spirit and scene blending. The following points must be paid attention to when making double dry bonsai. Two kinds of trees must be selected first. The main tree is taller and the secondary tree is shorter. The posture of the main tree is dominant, and the posture change of the trunk of the secondary tree is similar or close to that of the main tree, forming a certain tacit understanding. If the trunk postures of two trees are completely different, such as a song, it is difficult to produce harmonious beauty and should be avoided. The two trees should be planted back and forth, not parallel. Who comes first depends on the specific situation. When planting, the trunk bases of two trees should be close, and the roots should be basically in the same direction, so they can't have their own things. The included angle in the extension direction of two tree trunks should not be too large, and it is generally ideal within 45. If it is too big, the trunks of two trees may lose mutual echo and attention. The selection and adjustment of double main branches is complicated. These two trees should be regarded as a unified whole, so as to achieve overall balance and stability, coordination between reality and reality, and strive for order. The lower branches of two trees should extend outward, and the thicker branches should be cut between the two trunks to avoid the intersection of the thicker branches and the trunks. Branches between trunks should be filled by front and back branches, and it is the most natural way to avoid going straight. In addition, the branches of the main tree should be higher, and the branches of the secondary tree can be slightly lower, so as not to affect the growth of the secondary tree. Double seasons can also be two different tree species, but the best combination is one tree species. Double trunk type is a combination of two trees, and it can also be combined into double trunk type, which is collectively called double trunk type. Because from the modeling point of view, their trunk processing and branch processing are the same. A double-handed book, which could have been a book, was later split in two by external forces. The height, thickness, straightness and exposure of the two tree trunks all meet the performance requirements of bonsai art, and Xie Lidan is also natural, with a little modification to remove rot. Branches are indispensable, but they are artificial. Both waterlines are very wide and both grow outside the trunk, which is ideal. The crown is closely combined by two crowns, and its potential is unified with the two trunks. The whole tree is dynamic and static, with compact structure, stability and quietness, unity and harmony.
