What is the oldest religious dance in Bali?

The Sanhaje is the oldest religious dance in Bali. It is usually performed when a person encounters a natural disaster or an epidemic disease, and has the function of avoiding calamities and removing illnesses. When the dance is performed, the dancers call out the names of the deities while singing along with the singing team, and before the dance is performed, the dancers sprinkle holy water to the audience and then dance. The dancers are all unmarried girls.
