Did hemorrhoid become an operation and will it recur?

Hemorrhoids will recur after operation. Hemorrhoids are common perianal diseases, and the causes are mostly related to diseases such as increased abdominal pressure or relaxation of pelvic floor fascia. The above situation can lead to venous reflux disorder at the lower end of rectum or around anal canal, and then form varicose veins, that is, hemorrhoids. Because hemorrhoid itself is a vascular disease, it is a normal blood vessel and will not cause too many health effects.

Hemorrhoids are large in size, and can even produce jet bleeding, which will have a certain adverse impact on the health of patients. At present, conservative treatment is the main treatment for hemorrhoids. Most symptoms of hemorrhoids can be alleviated by controlling diet, keeping defecation unobstructed and cooperating with the application of hemorrhoid drugs. Severe hemorrhoids, such as grade 3 or 4 hemorrhoids, should be operated on, and the symptoms can be relieved within a period of time after operation. The cause of hemorrhoids has not disappeared, and even the stool state has not been controlled, and hemorrhoids are prone to relapse. Some patients will relapse after hemorrhoid surgery, which means that hemorrhoids surgery has a certain postoperative recurrence rate. There are three main surgical treatments for hemorrhoids:

The first is simple hemorrhoidectomy, which is mainly used for the treatment of second and third degree internal hemorrhoids and mixed hemorrhoids.

The second type is stapler prolapse and hemorrhoids, also known as stapler prolapse and hemorrhoids. This kind of operation, commonly known as pph operation in clinic, is mainly suitable for third-degree and fourth-degree internal hemorrhoids, as well as second-degree internal hemorrhoids and mixed hemorrhoids that have failed to be treated by these non-surgical treatments. Compared with traditional surgery, this operation method has the advantages of less pain, shorter operation time and faster recovery of patients.

The third method is mainly aimed at external hemorrhoids, which is called thrombotic external hemorrhoidectomy. This operation only needs to take out the thrombotic wound and fill it with gauze. Hemorrhoids surgery's main purpose is to remove the tortuous and varicose hemorrhoids and fix the prolapsed and downward anal pad.

Judging from the causes of hemorrhoids introduced earlier, the causes of hemorrhoids are mainly caused by the downward movement of anal cushion or varicose veins. Patients with hemorrhoids only need to remove the downward part of the anal pad, but also make it move up, fix or remove the varicose veins. After resection, the patient will still have a part of anal pad residue, so it is impossible to completely remove the vein below the rectum. Therefore, patients with hemorrhoids have normal anal pad tissue and normal venous tissue after operation.

If the patient still has factors that make varicose veins or anal pad move down, such as long-term standing, constipation, prostatic hypertrophy, pregnancy or chronic cough, etc. Or long-term drinking and eating a lot of irritating food will lead to the recurrence of hemorrhoids, so there will still be a certain recurrence rate after hemorrhoid surgery.
