What is the working voltage of the energy-saving lamp tube? AC or DC?
Energy-saving lamps use AC power.
When the lamp works, the voltage is about 70 volts, but it needs more than 500 volts to ignite the gas in the lamp, which is generated by ballasts (mainly electronic ballasts at present), and different lamp voltages will be different.
The operating voltage is different from the ignition voltage. The voltage on the lamp+the voltage on the ballast is not equal to the power supply voltage (because the impedance characteristics of the load are different and the voltage phase is different).
