Traditional Hernia Repair: There is 1 large incision (about 6 to 8 centimeters long); hospitalization is required for about 7 to 10 days; routine anti-infections; postoperative pain and other discomforts are common; recurrence rate is about 20%; full recovery time is about 3 months for a normal hernia, and about 6 to 12 months for an extra-large hernia.

Hernia patch tension-free repair: there is a medium incision (about 4-6 cm long); hospitalization is required for about 3-7 days; routine anti-infection; recurrence rate is about 1%; full recovery time is about 1 month for normal hernia and 3-6 months for extra-large hernia.

Hernia laparoscopic repair: there are three small incisions (about 1 cm long); hospitalization is required for about 4 to 7 days; routine anti-infective; general anesthesia is necessary, and there can be complications such as poking traumatic placement of the mirror, injuries caused by the pneumoperitoneum; the recurrence rate is about 10%; the full recovery time is about 1 month for an ordinary hernia, and 3 to 6 months for an extra-large hernia.

It is recommended that patients who choose surgery to treat hernia, please go to a regular men's hospital for surgery, in order to delay your hernia surgery recovery time, causing you more trouble.
