Xi has two universities: Xi 'an University of Arts and Science, Shaanxi Preschool Teachers College, Xi Aviation College, Xi Institute of Physical Education and Xi Academy of Fine Arts.

1, Xi 'an University of Arts and Sciences

Xi University of Arts and Sciences is a full-time undergraduate college approved by the Ministry of Education in 2003, sponsored by the Xi government, jointly established by provinces and cities, and enrolling students nationwide.

2. Shaanxi Preschool Teachers College

Shaanxi Preschool Teachers' College is a provincial public undergraduate college that focuses on teacher education and trains preschool teachers. Formerly known as Shaanxi Education College, xi 'an Normal School (established in 1906) and Shaanxi Teacher Training School (established in 1956) were merged and established in 1963.

Xi 'an Aviation College is a full-time ordinary college with engineering as the main subject and coordinated development of multiple disciplines, located in Xi 'an, a famous historical and cultural city.

Xi Institute of Physical Education was founded in 1954, formerly known as Northwest Institute of Physical Education, and 1956 was renamed Xi Institute of Physical Education. It is one of the first six physical education colleges established in New China.

Xi 'an Academy of Fine Arts was founded in 1949. Its predecessor was the Second Branch of Northwest People's Academy of Fine Arts. /kloc-0 moved from Linfen, Shanxi Province to Chang 'an County, xi City in July, 1949, and was renamed the Art College of Northwest Military and Political University. After the Northwest Art Institute, Northwest Art Institute and other stages, it was officially named Xi 'an Academy of Fine Arts on May 1960.
