How to make kites by hand

Tools/materials: kite paper, bamboo or wood strips, nylon rope.

1. First, prepare a piece of paper with good toughness, which is thin and light, 50 cm long and 30 cm wide. The paper used to make traditional kites is generally cotton paper, rice paper and leather paper.

2. Then fold the paper into a diamond, or draw a diamond, and cut off the extra ground to make the paper into a diamond. As you can see, the bottom of this diamond (diamond) is 15cm, and the top is 35cm.

3. Continue to prepare two pieces of wood, one 30cm long and the other 50cm long. Fold them into a cross and tie them with a rope. The top of the cross is 15 cm high and the bottom is 35 cm high.

Then poke two small holes in the four corners of the cut paper, so that ten words can be fixed on the paper with nylon rope.

5. Then prepare two nylon wires, as shown in the figure. Tie both ends of a rope to both ends of a short wooden strip, and then tie one end of a slightly longer nylon rope to the center of this nylon rope.

6. Finally, tie some streamers at the ends and tail of the kite. When you are ready to fly, tie a light string at the end of the nylon rope, so that the kite will fly higher and higher!
