Brief introduction of Lu' an drum
Lu 'an Drum is a traditional drum book and drum music form of Han nationality with distinctive regional characteristics in northern China, also known as Lu 'an old tune. It is named after its popularity in Gu 'an Prefecture (now Changzhi, Shanxi Province), and there are other nicknames such as Ganbanqiang and Lu 'an Drum Book. As a unique folk culture and art, the inheritance and development of Lu 'an Drum is not optimistic, and there are still many problems that are difficult to solve, such as the shortage of funds and the serious loss of actors. On May 20th, 2006, Quyi was approved by the State Council to be included in the first batch of national intangible cultural heritage list.
