Scoring for sparring matches is based on a five-point scale.

1 point: punch to the body or head, leg kick to the body.

2 points: prancing punches to the head, leg kicks to the head, prancing leg kicks to the body, 180° turning leg kicks to the body (turning side kicks, etc.).
