Maryland bridge is also called resin bonded fixed denture. Generally speaking, there are three kinds of fixed dentures, one is called double-ended fixed bridge, the other is called single-ended fixed bridge and the other is called semi-fixed bridge. Double-ended fixed bridge means that there are piers at both ends and natural teeth support at both sides.
