Wuzhong District is located in the geographic center of the famous historical and cultural city of Suzhou, bordering Suzhou Ancient City, Suzhou Industrial Park, Suzhou Hi-Tech Zone in the north and Suzhou Wujiang District in the south, Kunshan City in the east, and Taihu Lake in the west, and the city of Wuxi and Huzhou City, Zhejiang Province, across the lake. Wuzhong District is under the jurisdiction of one national-level Taihu Lake Tourism Resort, one national-level economic and technological development zone, one national-level agricultural park, one provincial-level high-tech industrial development zone, seven towns and six streets, and the Doudou Mountain Scenic Management Area.
