Four elements of poetry
First of all, rhyme
Rhyme is one of the basic elements of poetry. The so-called rhyme in poetry is roughly equivalent to vowels in modern Chinese.
The so-called rhyme refers to putting two or more words in the same position, usually at the end of a sentence, so it is also called rhyme!
The purpose of rhyming is to rhyme harmoniously. The repetition of the same music in the same position constitutes the beauty of sound circulation.
Ancient rhyme is written according to rhyme. The so-called "official rhyme" of the ancients is the rhyme book promulgated by the court. By the Tang Dynasty, this rhyming book was basically the same as spoken English, and the rhyming according to the rhyming book was also very harmonious. After the Song Dynasty, due to the great changes in pronunciation, the poet still rhymed according to the old rhyme book, which was not so harmonious! Today, when we write old-style poems, we don't have to follow the rhymes of the ancients, but to learn old-style poems, we still need to know the rhymes of the ancients, so as not to mistakenly think that the poems written by the ancients don't rhyme!
Two, four tones
Four tones refer to four tones in Chinese. Modern Chinese (Putonghua) has four tones: flat tone (rising tone), rising tone (second tone), rising tone (third tone) and falling tone (fourth tone), while the four tones of ancient Chinese are flat tone, rising tone, falling tone and entering tone. The relationship between them is as follows:
1, Pingsheng, and the descendants evolved into Yin Pingping and Yang Pingping.
2. On the sound, some descendants have evolved into off-tone.
3, to the sound, the vast majority of future generations are still to the sound.
4. The entering tones that completely disappear in Putonghua are divided into flat tone, rising tone, rising tone and falling tone respectively.
Distinguishing four tones is the basis of distinguishing flat tones. Here we are. To discuss the problem of leveling.
Third, leveling.
Flat tone is a term of poetic meter: the poet divides four tones into two categories, flat tone is flat tone (Yin Ping, Yang Ping) and flat tone is three tones.
Fourth, antithesis
Duality in poetry is called duality. Is to juxtapose similar or opposing concepts. Generally speaking, duality means that two sentences are relative. The last sentence is called a sentence, and the next sentence is called a sentence. The general rules are noun to noun, verb to verb, adjective to adjective, and so on.
