What does the township United Front Office do?

The United Front Work Department is the functional department of the Party Committee to implement the Party's United Front principles and policies. Its main responsibilities are: the work of intellectuals outside the party and democratic parties; (1) grassroots organization construction and ideological construction of democratic parties; (2) Contact and communicate with representatives of democratic parties and independents to serve them; (3) Training, selecting and recommending non-party intellectual representatives. Ethnic and religious work: (1) publicize and implement the party's ethnic and religious policies; Understand and reflect the opinions and suggestions of minority teachers and students; (2) to assist relevant departments in selecting, training and recommending minority cadres and representatives. Work for overseas Chinese in Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan: (1) publicize and implement the Party's overseas Chinese affairs and Taiwan policy; Do a good job in the related work of compatriots from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan and their families; (2) support the overseas Chinese Federation to carry out its work.
