Nanjing Library and Jinling Library
Nanjing Library, a national first-class library, is the first batch of national key protection units of ancient books. Its predecessor can be traced back to Jiangnan Library, which was founded in 1907. It is the first public library in China. 1927 changed to National Central University Library of Chinese Studies; 1933 the national government established the national central library; 1952 the sinology library and the former central library merged into the present Nanjing library. Nanjing Library inherits profound cultural heritage and adheres to the concept of humanized service. Nanjing Library is advancing towards the goal of "first-class in China and advanced in the world".
Jinling Library, Nanjing Municipal Public Library,/kloc-0 was completed and opened in June, 1980. Formerly known as Nanjing People's Library, it was renamed Nanjing People's Library 1984 in June. The museum is located in the center of the city.
