Positive and Negative Shapes Positive and negative shapes are borrowed from each other, and two different meanings are implied in a single linear shape.

When I was confronted with the poster graphic of the romantic drama ANTONY AND CLEOPATRA by the German designer Mr. Drewinski Lex, I was impressed by the designer's artistic use of flat space. Between the woman and the snake with its positive and negative shapes, a line of dual use, the gentle nature of women and the relationship between the snake and women in the Christian culture is expressed in the best way, so that people can enjoy the wonderful cultural space created by the art.

When we pay attention to the white female body, we clearly see the soft female figure, whose demarcation line is obviously an indispensable part of the human body, and when we pay attention to the red line, a beautiful snake is swimming in the flat space, and its linear changes change its shape with the movement of vision.

According to the physics principle of "mutual unity and mutual exclusion", the positive and negative lines form a situation where each one does not give way to the other. Designers use this form to show us, our children, how to feel the presence of ****enjoyable spaces and how wonderful they are.

Traditional Chinese and foreign art is also often used, such as Mr. Escher's "Sonne and Mond", the founder of surrealism, which is an example of positive and negative congruence.

Through these works, we can feel the artistic value of positive and negative shapes. The use of positive and negative shapes can create a stronger artistic impact.
