The internal system of Hanfu is very complete. After thousands of years of development, the clothing system has become mature, not only in a wide variety, but also in a variety of accessories. The styles, shapes, materials and tailoring of Hanfu are obviously different in different historical periods, but the main body is similar. In the traditional society of China, clothing is regarded as a way to "rule the world". "The Yellow Emperor and Yao Shun rule the world by hanging down their clothes, thanks to the help of Gan Kun", which means that the shape of their skirts is determined by God's will and sacred. Han Fu also influenced the whole cultural circle of China through Confucianism and China's legal system. Some ethnic groups in Asia, such as Japan, Korea and Vietnam, all have or learn from the characteristics of Hanfu.
