Rural toilet reform is a dry toilet squatting toilet. Can you just put a toilet on it?

In rural areas, different places adopt different toilet improvement schemes. At present, there are six schemes for toilet renovation. According to the situation in different rural areas, the three most common types are flush toilets, three-room septic tanks, feces-urine separation (also called dry sealed non-flush toilets) and double-Weng funnel toilets.

So how to change the traditional dry toilet, which scheme can directly install the toilet toilet on the previous squat toilet? I think this is what kind of toilet renovation scheme you need to adopt before you can decide.

The first type: flushing toilet. This kind of toilet is suitable for places with abundant water and not cold weather in the south. In my hometown in 2000, farmers there spontaneously changed the dry toilet into a flushing toilet.

In this toilet, the septic tank is divided into three compartments, which are connected by pipes. There are more than three compartments in the pool, the first compartment is the water inlet, the second compartment is the connection pool, and the third compartment is the water outlet. However, it should be noted that the above three ponds cannot be sealed with cement boards, and a hole should be left to dig out the manure after the three septic tanks are full. If this scheme is used to change the toilet, it is possible to change the squatting pan into a toilet. Some people may think that it will cost a lot of money to dig another three-format septic tank.

Don't worry, there are ready-made three-format septic tanks for sale. This septic tank is installed in my father-in-law's house, and their village is in the toilet improvement area. This septic tank is still free. My father-in-law only needs to pay for the installation.

The second type: dry sealed toilet with separation of feces and urine. Some friends may say that flushing toilets is good, but we are short of water and will freeze in winter. This situation is indeed a problem, but there is also a solution, that is, choose a toilet with separate feces and urine, and flush it with soil instead of water.

The principle of this toilet structure is squatting posture and separation of feces and urine. When squatting to urinate, urine will flow into one urinal, and when urinating, feces will flow into another urinal. After the toilet is over, cover the feces with the soil prepared in advance, and finally cover it.

This kind of toilet can be rebuilt on the basis of the original dry toilet, and generally needs to install urinals, septic tanks, exhaust pipes, male urinals and so on.

The installation method is to get an independent urinal, and connect it to the urinal in the squat pit with a urine collection tube to let urine flow into the urinal. If there is a male urinal, remember to connect it with a urine collection tube. The urinal is full and can be diluted with water for fertilization.

The other is a sewage pool. An exhaust pipe should be set below the septic tank, and the height of the exhaust pipe should be higher than the roof of the toilet. A fly-proof and rain-proof cap should be made at the top of the exhaust pipe to prevent rainwater and flies from entering.

The septic tank is full, so you can take it out by yourself. If it is a movable septic tank, you can get a pulley design at the bottom. When you are full, you can pull it out of the jar for fermentation and fertilization. If it is a pool, then the pool has to be exposed outside the toilet, and then covered with a material that can shelter from rain and insects, and then opened the cover to clean the septic tank.

As for how often to clean it, it depends on the population of the family and the size of the pool. Generally, it is not necessary to cover it too big, and it is just right to clean it once a year, which is enough to kill bacteria in feces under the condition of constant sealing.

In addition, there should be a garbage basket in the toilet to put toilet paper. If there is a man smoking in the toilet, you can put an ashtray or something, and don't throw cigarette butts into the cesspit.

When using this toilet, we must pay attention to the fact that the septic tank must not enter water, so this toilet can only be squatted and cannot be made into a toilet, because if you use a toilet, you will not be able to separate feces from urine.

The third type: double Weng funnel toilet. This toilet is similar to a three-format septic tank in principle. There are finished products for sale and installation in the market. You can ask the sellers, and they will tell you. In fact, it is similar to the ready-made three-format septic tank.

This toilet can also be equipped with a toilet, which is modified on the basis of the original dry toilet.

Conclusion: The climate at that time was different in different rural areas. General flush toilets and double-Weng funnel toilets are suitable for rural areas in the south or places with sewers.
