Difference between Brushless Motor and Ordinary Motor

First of all, we must define the common motor. Asynchronous motors (induction motors) are generally used in industrial fields, and the motors in normal life are generally brushed or brushless motors, so once again, the ordinary motors are equated with brushed motors to answer.

Advantages of brushless motor: (1) brushless, low interference; (2) Low noise and smooth operation; (3) Long service life and low maintenance cost.

Other differences: (1) Scope of application: Brushless motors are usually used in equipment with high control requirements and high speed, such as airplane models and precision instruments. Carbon brush motors are usually used for high-speed power equipment, such as hair dryers, factory motors, household range hoods, etc. In addition, the rotation speed of the series motor can reach very high, but due to the rotation speed problem of the carbon brush, (2) the application effect: Brushless motor usually adopts digital frequency conversion control, which has strong controllability and can be easily realized from several revolutions per minute to tens of thousands of revolutions per minute. Generally, the working speed of carbon brush motor is unchanged after starting, so it is not easy to adjust the speed. Series motor can also reach 20000 revolutions per minute, but its service life will be shorter.
