Teaching and Research Center of School of Pharmacy, Jinan University

In terms of teaching, the School of Pharmacy consists of two departments and one center, namely, the Department of Pharmacy, the Department of Traditional Chinese Medicine and the Pharmacy Laboratory Center, which are responsible for undergraduate teaching. The Faculty of Pharmacy consists of the Department of Pharmacology, the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, the Department of Pharmacy, the Department of Pharmaceutical Analysis, the Department of Pharmaceutical Management, the Department of Biopharmaceutics, and the Department of Pharmaceutical Toxicology. The Department of Traditional Chinese Medicine consists of the Department of Pharmacology of Traditional Chinese Medicines, the Department of Pharmaceutical Preparation of Traditional Chinese Medicines, the Department of Chemistry of Natural Medicines, the Department of Analysis of Traditional Chinese Medicines, the Department of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and the Department of Biopharmaceutics. In terms of scientific research institutions and platforms, the School of Pharmacy has six research institutes: Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Natural Medicines, Institute of New Drugs, Institute of Genetic Drugs, Institute of Biotechnology of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Joint Laboratory of Neuroscience and Innovative Drugs Research of Jinan University and Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, and Center for Oceanic Pharmaceuticals, and Key Laboratory of Guangdong Universities for Research on Pharmacodynamic Substances and Innovative Drugs of Traditional Chinese Medicine. The research center also has six research institutes, including the Key Laboratory of Guangdong University for Pharmacodynamic Substance and Innovative Drug Research, 985 Innovative Drug Research Advantageous Discipline Platform, and 2011 Collaborative Innovation Center for Traditional Chinese Medicine and Natural Drugs.
