Reasons for the Close Layout of Traditional Dwellings in Southern Xinjiang Oasis

The scale of gathering is characterized by the geographical differentiation of "big in the north and small in the south". Rural settlements patch area between the individual differences are large.

There are many old oasis settlements in the southern border, with traditional cultivation as the main industry and dense distribution of villages, while there are many new artificial oasis settlements in the northern border, with nomadic pastoralism accounting for a large proportion of the area and dispersed distribution of villages; the level of economic development and urbanization in the northern border is faster than that of the southern border, and the process of urbanization in the northern border is even faster.

Using remote sensing to interpret the data, the spatial analysis method reveals the spatial distribution characteristics of the oasis villages in Xinjiang, and combines with geodetic detector technology to explore the influencing factors of their spatial differentiation;
