As one of the oldest cities in China history, Xi 'an is one of the four ancient capitals in China, because it is the capital of some of the most important dynasties in China history, including Zhou, Qin, Han, Sui and Tang. Xi is the eastern end of the Silk Road. This city has a history of more than 3 100 years and is called Chang 'an (traditional Chinese: Chang 'an).
