What are the differences among cloud computing, grid computing, distributed computing, cluster computing and supercomputing?
Cloud computing is the development of parallel computing, distributed computing and grid computing, or the commercial realization of these computer science concepts. Cloud computing is the result of mixed evolution and leap of the concepts of virtualization, utility computing, IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service), PaaS (Platform as a Service) and SaaS (Software as a Service). Generally speaking, cloud computing can be regarded as a commercial evolution version of grid computing.
