List and appreciate the artistic features of Broncusi sculpture.

1908, Broncusi began to create Kiss, which became the most abstract sculpture of this era. Later, he created Sleeping Muse (19 10) and Rebirth (19 15), realizing completely non-figurative abstract sculptures. His works are characterized by symbolic extreme abstraction and subtle shapes. He pays attention to the idealized image of nature, and at the same time can express the essence of bird, fish, egg and human structure in reality. In terms of materials, he prefers to cast marble, wood and copper to express the life and simple form of materials. Through the exquisite polishing technique, he shows the beautiful curve of stone or bronze, and his painting style is clear as water and infinitely pure. He is known as the representative figure of avant-garde sculpture which is completely abstract and simple. His works are not only integrated with Romanian folk customs, but also influenced by the East, including China and its Tibet, Indian, Turkish, Japanese and Cambodian. The process of exploring simplicity in form is parallel to cubism and futurism in time, but he never set foot in any genre, but maintained his unique personal style.

Works:

Birds in space

In this work about birds, Brancusi completely got rid of the restriction of the natural form of birds and simplified it into a seemingly elongated exclamation point, but at the same time, he just grasped the most essential form of birds flying in the air. The streamlined shape is concise, and the material itself is smooth and bright, which makes the whole work full of tension and spirituality and gives the audience unlimited imagination. Pursuing the perfect unity of inner spiritual expression and the combination of form and material is the most important significance of Broncusi's art.

Miss bogani.

This is the most famous portrait sculpture. Margit Borgiani is a Romanian female painter. She met Brancusi in Paris on 19 10. From 19 10 to 1933, Broncusi created many statues for bogani with different materials, but only three marble statues and three bronze statues were preserved, which is one of the best bronze sculptures. In this work, the author uses exaggerated and generalized forms to show bogani's inner spiritual world and temperament. This bronze sculpture's oval face, big eyes and chin cupping are very similar to bogani's self-portrait. Broncusi highlights the main characteristics of female painters with beautiful and harmonious lines, which makes the statue have a charming power.

Sleeping muse

Zeus is the floorboard of nine literary goddesses in Greek mythology. They often live in caves and cool springs, singing and having fun. In this work, the author breaks away from convention and only shapes an oval head, slightly carving the shapes of eyes, nose and mouth. Her closed eyes, slender nose and slender mouth condensed the main features of the goddess and showed a sleepy look. If you look carefully, you will think that she is a beautiful goddess sleeping in a cave. This "sleeping beauty" only shows one head, and the rest is left to the viewer to imagine.
