What are the musical characteristics of Hui folk songs?

The Hui folk songs are greatly influenced by the Islamic chanting tunes, and some of the works have a strong Islamic style in terms of tuning, melody and rhythm. The Hui folk songs mainly use three tunes, namely [2-5-6-125], [5612-3-5-] and [5-6-1245]. Melodic method also has its own unique features, such as the Shang, Zheng two-tone continuous four-degree upward skipping, pentatonic scale type of meandering downward, the main tone of the modulation of the termination of the downward slide, and so on. This makes the Hui flowers high rough outside, but also has a long lingering flavor.
