Understanding and Understanding of the Basic Spirit of China's Excellent Traditional Culture
Tenderness, politeness and respect for the old and love for the young are all branches of these two basic spiritual qualities. Why do you say that?
Spiritual characteristics originated from the living environment of this nation and benefited from the protection of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. It should be the hinterland of arid and semi-arid areas in China, but now it has become the most suitable place for human habitation in the Central Plains and Jiangnan. Many rivers that originate from the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau and flow eastward into the sea have given our nation milk-like nutrition. From the endless grassland forest in the north to the fragrance of rice and flowers in the south, people who grew up in this land naturally turned their gratitude to heaven and earth into the meaning of their children, and the unity of heaven and man became the simplest emotional and spiritual destination of the Chinese nation.
In the philosophical thinking about the unity of man and nature, our ancestors attributed their understanding of the world to the role of yin and yang, which led to the emergence, development and decline of all things. Therefore, Lao Tzu said: everything is negative and holds yang, and the gas in it thinks that it is harmonious. It is based on the sage holding one, thinking that the world is grazing. Laozi put forward his own philosophical concept: Tao and virtue. Tao is empty, 0 is empty; Virtue is virtue, and character is 1. The level of light is Daoguang Deneng. Everything is born of Tao, nurtured by virtue, shaped by things, and made by devices. Everything respects Tao and is virtuous. Heaven and earth and our bodies are yin and yang, and two opposing forces have produced a beautiful and warm world.
Benevolence and righteousness are manifested in social relations. The most essential meaning of benevolence and righteousness is to do to others what you don't want them to do to you. This attitude towards life is consistent with the harmonious interaction between Yin and Yang revealed by morality in philosophical thinking.
A nation with a history of 5,000 years of civilization has had too much helplessness in history, but the harmony between man and nature and moral integrity are undoubtedly the most essential spiritual characteristics of the Chinese nation.
