In the tradition of scholar-officials, he showed a kind of lyricism and narration between individualism and egoism, and Qu Yuan, as the first poet in China, was also the first poet to express his character with poetry.

The emergence of this epic level is actually due to Qu Yuan's different interpretations of the world view and existentialism. In this work, he can actually be regarded as a philosophical poem of ancient Greek natural philosophy, and their natural philosophy is expressed in the form of poetry. In fact, no one will pay attention to this after that. Compared with his works, everyone pays more attention to the works of Confucius and Mencius.
