Brief introduction of Qingdao sports center venues

Qingdao Guo Xin Stadium (formerly Qingdao Zhong Yi Stadium) was built on 1998. Qingdao Zhong Yi Manatee Football Team was once one of the first-class football teams in China. The final of the 2002 China Football Association Cup League was held here. Witnessed Qingdao Zhong Yi Manatees win the FA Cup. There are also many cultural performances, star concerts and opening performances of festivals such as Qingdao International Beer Festival and Qingdao Ocean Festival.

Address: No.5 Yinchuan East Road, Laoshan District (South Gate of Qingdao Sports Center). Qingdao Guoxin Gymnasium is located in the northwest of Qingdao Sports Center (the intersection of Tongan Road and Jinsong No.7 Road). Seen from the air, the stadium looks like a diamond, so it is named the Diamond Stadium. Gymnasium is divided into two parts: ordinary gymnasium and ice and snow gymnasium. Guoxin Gymnasium has hosted large-scale cultural performances such as the figure skating competition of the 11th National Games of the People's Republic of China and the Sudirman Cup Badminton Open.

Qingdao Guo Xin Swimming and Diving Hall is located in the southeast of Qingdao Sports Center. It looks like a shell from the air, so it is named Shell Gymnasium. The diving, swimming and synchronized swimming competitions of the 11th National Games of the People's Republic of China were held in June 2009.

Qingdao Sports Center also includes a tennis center, a comprehensive training hall, a media center, a national fitness square and a parking lot. The Tennis Center is located in the east of Guo Xin Gymnasium, and there are several large tennis courts. The comprehensive training hall is located on the east side of Guoxin Gymnasium on Tongan Road. It used to be a training place for some athletes who participated in the National Games. In addition, there is a parking lot on the east side of Guo Xin Stadium, which is convenient for spectators to park.
