Principle of Blanket

The surface has a thick plush, with the warmth of the bed with woolen fabrics, can also be used as bedspreads, wall blankets and other decorative items. It is divided into three categories: pure woolen blanket, blended woolen blanket and chemical fiber blanket. Pure woolen blanket with semi-fine wool as raw material, generally 2 to 5 count coarse combed woolen yarn for warp and weft, or combed woolen yarn, cotton yarn, rayon yarn for warp, coarse combed woolen yarn for weft interweaving, can be taken as twill and broken twill weft double, satin weft double, jointed double twill organization, and so on. The fabrics need to go through shrinkage and double-sided pile finishing. The weight of each blanket is about 2-3 kilograms. Blended woolen blanket contains 30 to 50% of viscose fiber, and sometimes mixed with recycled wool, in order to reduce the cost. Chemical fiber blanket with acrylic as the main raw material, bright color, feel light and soft. The weaving method of blanket is divided into two kinds of weaving and knitting. Woven blankets are woven on ordinary wool looms and pile looms; knitted blankets are subdivided into warp knitting, tufting, needle punching, sewing and so on. Pile woven blankets and warp knitting blankets are all made by cutting pile to obtain the velvet surface, thus the velvet is vertical, the velvet surface is flat, the handfeel is soft and elastic, and it is a higher grade variety of woolen blankets. In addition to pilling, according to the requirements of different varieties, the after-processing is also steamed, combed, grasped, ironed, sheared or rolled, and so on. The appearance of the blankets is diversified, including velvet type with plump and curled pile, velvet type with upright and velvety pile, smooth and long pile, ball type with lamb skin, and water pattern with irregular ripples, etc. The patterns and colors of the blankets are various. There are many kinds of patterns and colors of blankets, such as geometric patterns, flowers, landscapes, animals, and so on. Generally blankets are decorated and reinforced with cuffed edges, wrapped edges, and spangled edges.
