Chinese architecture has a unique style characteristics, between the bricks there are precious history and stories that will be important. In the history of Chinese architecture, it is worth mentioning the major gardens. Some of these gardens were built by private companies, some by royal companies, but all are exquisite and elegant.

The Ancient Charm of Books--Ancient Lotus Pond

This garden may be a bit unfamiliar to readers in Jiangnan. In fact, it is also one of the ten most famous gardens in China. Since ancient times, the lotus pond has been surrounded by water to set the scene, and the water wins, so it is named after the lotus flower. The garden buildings in the garden are small and exquisite, elegant and chic, clumsy and simple, bringing together the essence of China's ancient architectural garden style.

Elegant and clear--Qiao Yuan

Taizhou Qiao Yuan is the only private garden in northern Jiangsu in the Ming Dynasty. "Although the small garden is cheap, the good trees are known, green soil and pale officials, better than the Qi Ge Ting carved roses." This is the master of the Qing Dynasty Taizhou Qiaoyuan's evaluation of their own private gardens. In many private gardens, Qiaoyuan is more like a low-key but elegant small family, safe and independent, with its own beauty.

After the founding of the People's Republic of China, Qiaoyuan was nationalized, and the government guest house was rebuilt with gardens and mansion land, so it has been called Qiaoyuan Guest House and Qiaoyuan Hospitality House until now. Liu Shaoqi rested here when he inspected the north of Jiangsu Province, and Mei Lanfang returned to his hometown in 1956 and stayed here. Qiaoyuan is one of the famous places in Taizhou.

The whole garden covers an area of more than 12,000 square meters, with Sanxiang Cao Tang as the center, chiseled pool and chiseled mountain as the main scenery in the south, and a courtyard in the north. The front pool is surrounded by jagged rocks, with three stalagmites standing on the main peak, mainly lakes and rockeries, with wrinkles and penetrations, leaks and details. The pool spans the bridge and stone beams of Xiaohuandong, crossing the bridge into the cave and winding its way through the mountains. In front of the site of the Flower God Pavilion, there is a thousand-year-old cypress tree, a half pavilion on the west side of the peak, and several fish pavilions in the east valley. Behind the pavilion, there are Bijie Hall, Pine Blowing Pavilion and Yinchao Pavilion. The flower and tree configuration of the Qiaoyuan is dominated by ancient cypresses, and plum forests. Many bamboos are planted in the water features of the depression. The front of the courtyard is planted with wax plums and clumps of laurel. Bamboo and plantain are scattered in the hall, and peonies and peonies are arranged in the flower beds. The use of the seasons of flowers and trees to represent the four seasons is unique, even in the private gardens of Jiangnan.

Elegant and simple--Qinghui Garden

Qinghui Garden, located in Huagaili, Daliang Town, Shunde District, Foshan City, Guangdong Province, is a masterpiece of classical garden art in southern China, and is regarded as one of the four famous gardens in Lingnan. Its layout not only absorbs the essence of Suzhou garden art, but also adapts to the local conditions. The environment is known for its quietness, nature, beauty and elegance.

Superimposed mountains and water--Qiyuan Garden

If you are tired of seeing garden buildings with nine curves and backward allegories, perhaps Qiyuan will win your favor. The main focus is on trees, mountains and pools, with slight architectural embellishments, similar to today's landscape-oriented gardening techniques. The mountain follows the water to turn, the mountain follows the water to live. Zhejiang Rest Garden is quite similar to Suzhou Humble Administrator's Garden in the layout of attractions. Large areas of water to gather the main, scattered as a supplement, a large rockery before and after the valley. In the garden, there are sandalwood shadows of nine curves, butterflies drip green, morning painting, sea moon small silver, ancient vines Pan Yun, the valley Qin Ting, wind and sunset, the beauty of the mirror, a hundred birds chirping in the spring, mud incense three music and other attractions. Its trail consists of caves, coasts, flying beams, boats and underground tunnels. It constitutes a complex labyrinth, which is a masterpiece among the existing private classical gardens in Zhejiang.
