Paper-cutting, commonly known as window grilles, is a folk craft in which various colors of paper are pasted on sketched thick paper for cutting and carving, and it has a far-reaching and extensive mass base among the people in Shaanxi. Wall flowers, door symbols, lantern flowers, festive flowers, kangwai flowers and door curtain flowers are also important components of Shaanxi paper-cutting. Shaanxi paper-cut has a strong regional style and enjoys a high reputation in the country. Many paper-cut works, such as birds fly at the phoenix, mice marry women, Wang Xiang sleeps on the ice, and two dragons play with beads, are famous at home and abroad.

2. Clay sculpture, that is, folk handicrafts that shape clay into various images. Folk commonly known as "painted sculpture" and "clay play" originated in Fengxiang County, Baoji City. Fengxiang clay sculpture is also called "Fengxiang painted sculpture", "Fengxiang painted sculpture" and "Fengxiang clay doll". Fengxiang clay sculpture * * * has 170 varieties of colors, ranging from a giant crouching tiger half a person's height to a rabbit and a lion, which is unique among many folk clay sculptures in China.

Waist drum is a popular form of folk encouragement in northern Shaanxi, especially in Ansai County, Yan 'an, Hengshan Mountain, Mizhi and Yulin, and it is one of the most influential folk dances in Shaanxi. Ansai waist drum is a representative type of waist drum in northern Shaanxi, which is often performed at major festivals, celebrations and temple fairs.
