Brief introduction of Hainan's geographical environment, history, culture and customs!
Hainan Miao people bite their hands and have sex.
"Reach out and give my brother a bite. The more you bite, the more you see your sister's affection. Castle peak doesn't always leave traces. Seeing that tooth mark is like seeing a person. " This is a ballad spread among Miao people in Hainan. Biting hands is a unique way for young Miao people in Hainan to express their love. On holidays, especially on March 3, young men and women sing beautiful and moving songs under betel nut trees, mango forests, streams and grassy slopes to express their ideals, interests and wishes and find their Mr. Right. Later, the young man picked up a bow and arrow and a harpoon to catch fish in the river, and the girls cooked and fished by the stream until the sun set. If the young man likes the girl he loves, he will sing the song of opening the door outside the girl's boudoir (the hut where young women live) with a bow, a nose flute and leaves at night. Girls don't sing the closing song, they open the door, light a bonfire on the grass or bamboo forest, and dance with each other to show their affection for each other. At this time, the girl listened to the boy's courtship and shyly took the boy's hand and took a bite. If you bite lightly and politely, the young man will understand that the girl is refusing or suggesting that she has the right person. If the girl bites hard and even shows signs of bleeding, it shows that the girl is very devoted to him and willing to accept the love of the young man. After biting their hands and making a promise, they took out their favorite calligraphy, such as rings, earrings, bamboo hats and waist baskets, and gave them to each other as a promise to show their lifelong companionship.
