According to the latest publicly available information on ordinary schools of higher education from the Ministry of Education, Sichuan Aerospace Vocational and Technical College is a specialized school, not an undergraduate school. Sichuan Aerospace Vocational and Technical College is a public, full-time, ordinary institution of higher education approved by the Ministry of Education of the State, the People's Government of Sichuan Province, and is open for enrollment throughout the country.

Built by the Sichuan Provincial Department of Education, the Sichuan Provincial Office of Science and Technology for National Defense, Sichuan Aerospace Administration of the tripartite ****; is a national training base for highly skilled personnel; is the national defense science and technology industry system in Sichuan, the only higher vocational colleges and universities.

According to the school's official website in April 2023, the school has 11 teaching departments and offers 42 majors; as of August 2022, there were 943 faculty members, including 783 full-time teachers and 108 part-time teachers on campus; and 18,542 full-time students.

The school's flag is a blue (standard color prescribed by the group of companies) rectangular flag. The aspect ratio is 3:2, and it can be enlarged or reduced proportionally. In the center of the flag, from left to right, are the corporate logo of the Group and the name of the school "Sichuan Aerospace Vocational and Technical College" in English and Chinese. Both the logo and the name are in white.

Cultural activities:

As of December 2015, the school has carried out various large-scale activities such as the "Learning from Lei Feng" anniversary activities, athletic meets, mental health month activities, cultural and artistic evenings, orientation evenings, mock job fairs, activities with Singaporean classmates, and participation in the Deyang City Cultural Performance.
