Why is "Fengdou" called Fengdou?

Fengdou, a processed product of Dendrobium, is called Fengdou. The stems of Dendrobium are processed and twisted into spiral or spring shape while baking. Dendrobium is an aerial orchid. Dendrobium can be divided into dozens of species such as yellow grass, golden hairpin and whip.

Dendrobium "nourishes yin, strengthens essence, has a thick stomach and intestines, is insufficient in internal supplement, flattens stomach and lengthens muscles, improves intelligence and relieves convulsions, and improves intelligence and prolongs life"; Folk call it "life-saving fairy grass"
