Introduction of "Out of the Water Lotus

Lotus in the Water is one of the "Ten Famous Songs of Chinese Guzheng" in the solo music of Chaozhou, together with "Crows Playing in the Water", "Flat Sand and Falling Geese" and "Liu Qingniang", and is a famous zheng piece in the music of Chaozhou (Fine Music 1), and is a must-play for zheng players. Zhongzhou Guzheng is played on the traditional 16-string wire zither, with a simple tone and elegant style. With a special flavor and unique music, it expresses the noble quality of the lotus flower, which is a gentleman in the flower, "out of the mud but not polluted, and not demonic in the Maundywash ripples", and expresses people's noble sentiments. The melody of this piece is clear and elegant; the speed is moderate and leisurely; the player's right hand embellishes the tune with the front leaning tone played by the continuo, which is full of power, and at the same time, it is also played with different touching points resulting in rich tone contrasts, which constitutes a special kind of "soft set" (re. 3-6). The whole piece uses a variety of expressive methods to portray the appearance and temperament of the water lily in a vivid manner.
