Jiangyin is in Wuxi City, Jiangsu Province.

Jiangyin originally belonged to Wudi Yanling, and the Jin Dynasty originally belonged to Jiyang County, so it was named because it was located in the "shadow of the great river". 1983, Jiangyin County was changed to Wuxi City; 1987 Withdraw the county to set up the city; In 20 17, Jiangyin became the only county-level comprehensive reform pilot city in Jiangsu Province.
