What's the name of the Tibetan house?
Diaofang is a common residential form in Qinghai-Tibet Plateau in southwest China and parts of Inner Mongolia. According to the Records of the Later Han Dynasty, it existed before the sixth year of Ding Yuan in the Han Dynasty (A.D.11). This is a house built of rubble or mud, which is three or four stories high. Because it looks like a bunker, it is called a bunker. The name of the bunker can be traced back at least to the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty (AD 1736).
Ri Si Man Ba Diao Fang:
Risimanba Diaofang Building is nine stories high and 25.6 meters high. It has been used for 13 generations. According to the custom of Tibetan descent, it should have been built in the late Yuan Dynasty and early Ming Dynasty. This blockhouse combines the typical Tibetan architectural art of Jia Rong, Kangba and Amdo. It is the oldest, tallest and tallest traditional tower in Aba Prefecture, and was recognized as a national cultural relic protection in 2006.
