What's the legend of "Happy Birds"?
It is said that there was a man named Li Jingyi at the end of Zhenguan in the Tang Dynasty. There is a magpie nest in the tree in front of his house. He often feeds the magpies in the nest. After a long time, people and birds have feelings.
On one occasion, Li Jingyi was wrongly imprisoned, which made him feel painful. One day, the bird fed by Li Jingyi suddenly stopped at the prison window and kept barking. He thought there would be good news. Sure enough, he was acquitted three days later.
It turned out that the magpie turned into a human being, faking the imperial edict and saving its master.
With the proof of this kind of story, magpie has become a symbol of good luck. It also appeared in Quotations of Birds, which recorded: "It is cloudy to sing, and it is rainy to sing, and people are happy to hear its voice."
