The background of the existence of eastern medicine

The reason why Vietnamese classical medicine can be preserved and developed so far has the following background conditions. One is the ecological conditions, where Vietnam produces a large number of medicinal plants with high quality and low price; Second, the historical and cultural conditions, Vietnam's classical medicine (the combination of southern medicine and northern medicine) was founded after the 14th (or 15th) century, and there were medical books written in Vietnamese characters. The medical education and practice established at that time have continued to this day. Third, the clinical conditions, there are diseases in Viet Nam that are different from those in China and are suitable for plant medicine treatment; Fourth, political and economic conditions, the long-term war caused a serious shortage of medicines, and the government called on the people to make use of local medicines and local doctors, thus protecting traditional medical care from policies. Although traditional medicine was once despised from the mid-197s to the early 198s, people gradually restored their trust in classical medicine from the mid-198s.
