There are two kinds of projectors: DLP and LCD. What technology do they mean? What is the difference?

DLP is the abbreviation of "digital light processing", that is, digital light processing, which means that this technology first digitizes the image signal and then projects light. DLP projection technology uses digital micromirror chip (DMD) as the main key processing element to realize digital optical processing.

LCD is the abbreviation of "liquid crystal display", that is, liquid crystal display. Projection uses the photoelectric effect of liquid crystal, that is, the arrangement of liquid crystal molecules changes under the action of electric field, which affects the transmittance or reflectivity of its liquid crystal box, thus affecting its optical characteristics and producing images with different grayscales and colors.

The above is a copy drop.

As far as I know, DLP usually reflects and projects an image when light shines on a mirror DMD display, while LCD projects an image when light shines on a transparent LCD display, but now LCD projection is also reflective.
